- While checking the misfire data using a scanner, I found that cylinders one, three, and four were misfiring. Upon inspection, the spark plugs were found to be fouled out and there was an issue with the ignition coil. Based on these findings, I replaced the spark plugs and the ignition coil and then rechecked the system. Unfortunately, after these replacements, cylinder one is still misfiring. I performed a cylinder leak test, which passed, but a subsequent compression test revealed that cylinder one is low at only 75 PSI, while cylinders two and three are at 100 PSI and cylinder four is at 110 PSI. These results suggest a possible internal engine failure. Given the nature of this issue, I advise that you seek a second opinion from the dealer for further evaluation.
